| Core BeliefsWe up hold four core beliefs that form the foundation for all we are and all we do. THE GREAT CONFESSION: Confessing that Jesus Christ is both Lord and SaviorIf you confess with your mouth. “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9) Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven (Mathew 10:32) THE GREAT COMMANDMENT: That the love of God be our motivation.Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets on these two commandments. (Matthew 22:37-39) A new command I give you: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this w all men know your are my disciples. if you love one another. (John 13:34.35) THE GREAT COMMITMENT: Being devoted to training God’s people in the Word. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others. (2 Timothy 2:2) It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets. some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may he built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. (Ephesians 4:11-14) Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. (Proverbs 22:6) Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15) THE GREAT COMMISSION: Proclaiming the Good News to the lost everywhere. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything i have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20) Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. (Mark 16:15) But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem. and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ. he is a new creation; the old has gone. the new has come All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
