Core Values

Our core beliefs inform our values, forming the attitudes and actions for all our ministries.

CONFESSING THAT JESUS CHRIST IS BOTH LORD AND SAVIOR INVOLVES...

  • Ownership: to take hold of God’s Word in our hearts, minds, and souls. To affirm and proclaim what we belief to be true by our actions, words and giving.

  • Being followers and learners: to submit, trust, and be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit. To actively seek and apply the knowledge Christ and His Word.

  • Life style: to offer ourselves as living sacrifices to God. To be transformed by the renewing of our minds through the power of the Holy Spirit so as to be a living testimony for Christ.

  • Worship: to personally and communally be worshiping God the Father. God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

THAT THE LOVE OF GOD BE OUR MOTIVATION INVOLVES...

  • Obedience: to serve and put Him first in our lives.

  • Loving: to love the Lord our God first. To unconditionally love and value every member. To care enough to overcome each other’s weaknesses based on His love and to uphold on another in prayer. And to love our neighbor as ourselves.

  • Servanthood: to humbly consider others better than ourselves, and to follow, submitting to leaders whom the Holy Spirit calls and gifts to serve.

  • Rejoicing: personally, and as a body of forgiven saints, in God’s love, grace and mercy for us.

BEING DEVOTED TO TEACHING GOD’S PEOPLE IN THE WORD INVOLVES...

  • Discipleship/Mentoring: to purposely grow disciples of Christ by giving believers every opportunity to grow in the knowledge of our Lord through prayer, study, and experiences, and to lead and teach by example.

  • Teaching/Preaching: to use the Word of God for teaching, preaching, correcting and training in righteousness in an effort to have every believer thoroughly equipped for every good work.

PROCLAIMING THE GOOD NEWS TO THE LOST EVERYWHERE INVOLVES...

  • Preparation: with our prayers. resources, and our participation in an effort to announce the Kingdom of God, it’s present hope and promise of eternal glory.
  • Personal Evangelism: to proclaim the Good News of salvation to all within our town, state, nation, and world. To proactively engage the people God has put around us personally for the purpose of opening doors for the gospel to be presented.
  • Corporate Evangelism: to develop, promote and be focused on strategies that connect our church community with the unbelieving world in an effort to proclaim the Good News.
